Our Clinical Services

At Trailhead Community Farm School, we recognize that students thrive when their academic, social, emotional, and therapeutic needs are supported together. Our clinical programming is designed to complement the school’s individualized academic and experiential approach while helping students build the skills they need to navigate relationships, manage challenges, and become more confident and independent.

Individual & Family Therapy

Trailhead Community Farm School is proud to collaborate with Upstate Carolina Autism Associates to provide access to individual and family therapy services for interested TCFS students and families.

Individual therapy services are provided virtually during the school day, allowing students to access consistent clinical support without requiring families to coordinate additional appointments outside of school. Family therapy services also provided virtually based on the needs of the student and family.

Individual and family therapy is provided by clinicians with experience supporting neurodivergent children, adolescents, and families. Services are individualized to each student's needs and may address areas such as emotional regulation, anxiety, communication, relationships, self-advocacy, coping skills, and family dynamics.

Daily Therapeutic Group

Our daily group focuses on teaching practical skills, improving social abilities, and promoting teamwork. Students take part in various activities such as games, art, crafts, and cooking. These skills are also integrated into academic projects. The day wraps up with a reflection session where students talk about the day and get ready for the next.

The fee for the daily group is included in tuition.

Events for our Families and the Community at Large

Providing support to the community is our team's goal. We are dedicated to offering educational and support opportunities to both our families and those in the wider community.

Everyone is invited to join these events! Check out our calendar for upcoming events.

Integrated School Support

Clinical support doesn't stop when the therapy session ends. Students have opportunities throughout the school day to practice the skills they are developing with peers and staff.

This integrated approach helps students connect therapeutic learning to everyday experiences at school, at home, and in their communities.
